HP has announced its latest Mini for education, the HP Mini 1104. Priced at $399, the 2.78 pound HP Mini 1104 offers a 10.1-inch screen measured diagonally and features a 93 percent full-size keyboard, encased in a lightweight chassis.
Additional features include:
- Up to 9 hours of battery life with the 6-cell option
- TPM Embedded Security Chip and Computrace Pro
- Dual-core Intel® Atom Processor N2600 for reduced power consumption
- Integrated VGA webcam, digital microphone and speakers enable both video and still-image capture
- Integrated Bluetooth® wireless technology for connectivity between other Bluetooth devices
- Hard drive accelerometer that acts as a motion sensor for protection if the Mini is dropped making it ideal for classroom and on the go use
- Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ WLAN and optional integrated HP Mobile Broadband which allows users to conveniently access internet, school intranet, email and information in more places around the world
