Desktop Computing Platforms Expanded to Support Terminal Services

Pano Logic, provider of zero client desktop virtualization and cloud computing services, today announced Pano System for Cloud/Terminal Services 2.0, which links cloud-based computing with legacy terminal services resources.

By expanding its platform compatibility to include terminal services, Pano Logic now provides a solution that can support all three major computing platforms, all utilizing a truly zero endpoint that contains no processor, operating system or moving parts.

Pano Logic’s core technology now enables Pano Zero Clients to function as endpoints for any form of server-hosted desktop – ranging from full, virtualized Windows desktops, to Microsoft and Citrix terminal services, and to browser-based cloud desktops – and it provides a migration path between them. The new software release also includes free enrollment in a cloud-based remote server management console called Pano Cloud portal. The portal enables IT managers to monitor and manage their Pano endpoints and cloud servers from any Internet-connected browser worldwide.

Pano System for Cloud/Terminal Services 2.0 will be available on September 5, 2012. For more information, visit http://www.panologic.com/pano-system/ts.
