A few interesting stories today on what some district techies are planning for their summer “vacation.” Winslow Township, NJ is equipping elementary schools with more than 100 Mimioboards . The Springfield City School District in Ohio is in the process of updating its Internet Safety and Acceptable Use Policy. To help improve its teacher evaluation and professional development processes, Liberty County School District in Bristol, FL has decided to implement Teachscape. The Los Banos Unified School District is about half way to having the technology needed for computer adaptive testing, which will be mandatory in California in the 2014-15 school year.
