News From the Front of edTech

Sometimes the best news regarding how edtech is impacting schools appear in the local press. Long Island Newsday reports on high school senior Scott Smith, who developed the district’s new app; the Cape Verde Bugle in Arizona reports on Camp Verde School District reinvention; and The Oshkosh Northwestern identifies an interesting fact: the Oshkosh School District’s “lowest-income schools have some of the best access to technology because they qualify for grant opportunities, whereas some of the more higher-income schools do not qualify for grant funding and therefore don’t have as much access. —Kevin Hogan, Editorial Director
