CDW Government LLC and Austin Independent School District have announced the installation of 2,000 “Innovation Stations” throughout the district’s 120 schools to provide teachers and students with technology-enabled lessons.

CDW Government LLC (CDW-G) and Austin Independent School District (AISD) have announced the installation of 2,000 “Innovation Stations” throughout the district’s 120 schools to provide teachers and students with technology-enabled lessons.

The IT and educational technology (ET) departments at AISD, with help from CDW-G, designed the Innovation Station – a central podium with a touch-screen pad that enables teachers to control a mounted projector, screen, document camera and classroom audio system with microphones, amplifiers and speakers. The technology is supported with ongoing professional development for faculty.
