The Education Technology Industry Network (ETIN) of SIIA today released the 2015 Vision K-20 Survey Report, its eighth annual national survey measuring U.S. educational institutions’ self-reported progress toward technology and e-learning adoption. The findings were released at the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) conference. The survey finds that K-20 education institutions are making slow but steady progress toward reaching their instructional and operational goals through the use of technology, including increased use of student data.

The Education Technology Information Network (ETIN) of SIIA, today released the second report in a new series of Behind the Data publications titled, PreK-12 Online Course Market. This report is an extension of ETIN’s annual vendor survey on the PreK-12 U.S. Education Technology Market, which reports the size of the market for school software, content and digital services.

WASHINGTON (June 28, 2016) – The Education Technology Industry Network (ETIN) of SIIA releases the 2016 Vision K-20 Professional Learning Survey Report, its ninth annual national K-20 educator survey and its first survey focusing on online professional learning (PL) The survey finds that educators from PreK-12 and higher education institutions most often enroll in courses that provide training for online software and digital resources and classroom management/behavior training.    “Educators have an increasing number of online professional learning choices that provide them with a flexible alternative to traditional professional development formats,” said Karen Billings, vice president and managing director of the ETIN. “The Vision K-20 Professional Learning Survey provides educators and administrators with critical insight to how educators are taking online PL courses, why they take them and who provides them.”

The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) releases the 2014 Vision K-20 Survey Report, its seventh annual national survey measuring U.S. educational institutions’ self-reported progress toward building a framework that embraces technology and e-learning. The findings were presented at a press event during the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) conference. The report suggests that K-20 education institutions are striving for more digital educational goals, which are increasingly reached through Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies.

Education Technology Industry Network of SIIA Calls for 2015 Vision K-20 Survey Participants

The Education Technology Industry Network (ETIN) of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) announces the launch of its seventh annual Vision K-20 Survey. The Vision K-20 Survey gives educators, administrators and faculty members from K-12 and postsecondary educational institutions the opportunity to evaluate their current technology use and compare it to prior results in a short online survey.
