Raptor Technologies is partnering with Safe and Sound: A Sandy Hook Initiative to assist Safe and Sound with creating and delivering safety materials and best practices to school communities.
Safe and Sound: A Sandy Hook Initiative is a non-profit organization founded by parents who lost children at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012. The organization aims to empower local communities and districts to improve school safety and security through meaningful discussions, collaboration, planning, and sharing of tools and resources.
Raptor provides a web-based system that scans a school visitor’s ID against a national database of registered sex offenders, monitors custodial orders, and tracks who is coming in and out of the school buildings.
