Kyocera Mita America, Inc. today announced the availability of Kyocera Teaching Assistant, an affordable test creation, grading and analysis solution designed to streamline classroom workflow and boost student achievement.

Kyocera Teaching Assistant, powered byHyPAS, simplifies the task of printing, collecting and analyzing multiple-choice test results using bubble-sheet forms. Designed as an embedded solution on select Kyocera multifunctional products (MFP), Teaching Assistant drives classroom efficiency without requiring network resources, IT support, server software or PC connection. Teachers simply access Teaching Assistant on the Kyocera MFP and automatically print, scan, grade and analyze students’ test scores.

Teaching Assistant is available for any HyPAS-enabled Kyocera MFP, including Kyocera’s FS-C2626MFP, FS-C2526MFP,FS-3640MFP and FS-3540MFP color and black and white multifunctional printers, which launched today. Kyocera Teaching Assistant helps prepare students to meet state-mandated goals. Beyond the K-12 classroom, Teaching Assistant is also a valuable tool for organizations conducting internal or external training programs. The application requires only standard paper to generate bubble sheets, and can instantly create, print, scan and score each multiple-choice test. In addition, Teaching Assistant will prepare analytical and graphical reports, with an option to print, e-mail or save the results to a USB flash drive, reducing paper, toner and energy consumption.
