Colorado Spring School District aims to improve achievement with Discovery

School administrators of the Colorado Spring School District #11 have committed to improving student achievement by integrating Discovery Education digital services and hardware.

The services purchased by the district for its 48 schools include Discovery Education streaming Plus, a digital video-based learning resource that contains over 9,000 titles. Educators can also use Discovery Education Health, a digital standards-based health and prevention library.

Discovery Education will also provide customized professional development services to help educators maximize their use of digital media in efforts to engage students in learning. The district will also use Discovery Education MediaShare, a Web-based content sharing system that aids teacher collaboration through uploading, sharing, managing and distributing content.

Educators will use Discovery Media Servers, powered by Dell™ PowerEdge™ servers, to access content from Discovery Education locally. In addition to these resources, educators will be able to use the Discovery Educator Network, which provides a wide range of technology training and a resource library of teacher-generated projects and tools.
