I have several teachers who are interested in including online courses in their professional development plans. Neither has actually taken an online course and they are worried about making a financial investment in something they haven’t tried. Is there a way they can ‘test the waters’ first?
There are a number of reputable Web sites that offer teachers free online workshops. While your teachers won’t get to experience the interactive features found in a more formal setting, they can get a sense of what it’s like to work online. Here are two Web sites you can recommend:
- Teacher-to-Teacher Workshops
