Today, GitHub announced two new features, the GitHub Teacher Toolkit and autograding for GitHub Classroom.
With this update, the GitHub Education team is providing teachers free access to developer tools and automating parts of the grading process:
- Teacher Toolbox: The Teacher Toolbox brings together services like Arduino, Datadog and Name.com at no cost for teachers
- GitHub Classroom with autograding: Autograding tests run automatically on every student repository, and teachers can pinpoint where students are succeeding or struggling
