MapQuest now has a way for you to find a gas station near you with the lowest prices of gas. Type in city, state, and/or zip code and then click Search. At the top bar, you can see the highest and lowest prices for gas for the area you asked to search.

The results appear as a list and three different types of maps (street, aerial, and hybrid). Each gas station with the lowest prices appears as a numbered placeholder that shows a pop-up with the address, prices, phone number, places nearby, directions to and from.

There is also a Gas Calculator that lets you determine how much you may spend on your next trip. You can have your students plan a trip and estimate costs for gas and travel based on the lowest prices to their planned destination.
