Teachers and students of today’s digital age have a new option for an efficient way to study—Study X, an interactive software program that lets students create their own review material, has received praises from several schools that have implemented the program. Teachers at John F. Kennedy High Catholic High School in Manchester reported that their students were “totally engaged” in the program and liked the options that Study X offers, including multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, practice test features, flash cards and games. Users add information to the program in “Q-and-A” format, and can then print access or print the flash cards, study sheets or practice tests. Students of a variety of backgrounds can benefit from the program—a disabled student’s mother wrote in to the company, stating that her son has difficulty writing by hand and that Study X has made it possible for her son to complete assignments independently, keeping up in his classes. The program is recommended for students from the 2nd grade through college, and is currently only available for Windows OS.
