San Diego Unified has taken a bold step towards the transformation of the learning environment in each of its 7,000 classrooms by focusing on three key initiatives:

1. i21 Interactive Classroom- a personalized learning environment designed to optimize teaching and learning.
2. Universal Design for Learning - UDL provides a blueprint for creating instructional goals, methods, materials, and assessments that work for all students.
3. Kurzweil 3000 by Cambium Learning - District-wide access to scan/read technology that makes text accessible to all learners.
