We are rewriting the district technology plan this summer. We intend to include representatives from various stakeholder groups, but they have varied backgrounds and their grasp of technology use in schools varies widely. Are there up-to-date tools we can use to help these groups better understand the unique challenges of designing a technology plan for educational use?

Review the new Forum Unified Education Technology Suite materials. These online resources combine four previous publications from the National Center for Education Statistics and include updated information. The planning topics include: determining needs, choosing technology solutions, implementation, security, maintenance, and professional development.
