Have fun with music by introducing your students to the sounds of the orchestra. This site, from the National Arts Centre of Canada, explores the instrument families of the orchestra where you will learn about the whole orchestra by listening to and "virtually" handling instruments from the strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion sections. Discover facts about your favorite instruments from the violin and cello to the flute, tuba, and drums. You can even watch members of an orchestra demonstrate their instruments. Listen and enjoy!
