Designed and maintained primarily by former and current students, the Web site for Chester High School in Chester, Ill. (www.chesteryellowjackets.com/main.html) is a resource for news, photos, daily announcements, and more. The local community is engaged through links to businesses, nearby schools, and public agencies. The site offers several interesting twists: local businesses can contribute financially to the school by purchasing advertising banners; alumni use an e-mail directory to track down former classmates; and free, downloadable CHS wallpaper and screen savers are available.
