University Laboratory High School Library

Name:University Laboratory High School Library

The University of Illinois Laboratory High School serves almost 300 students in Urbana, Illinois. The school’s library Web site provides access to materials, links to class projects, and even invites students to make contributions.

How to use the site:
Teachers collaborate with library staff to post links to online resources for current classroom projects. Students use the site to access a wide array of resources and tools. In addition to an online catalog and databases, there are links to Web search and reference tools as well as bibliography help. The Computer Literacy area spotlights activities related to Information Literacy skills and responsible online behavior. Students are invited to make their own contributions to the site in a couple of ways. They may add comments to the Uni High Library Blog or participate in online discussions about books.
