LOS ANGELES – July 13, 2015 – The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) has selected Impero Education Pro as its network and classroom management solution for the launch of a bold new initiative to modernize and update the technology infrastructure across its entire network of schools. The nation’s largest regional education agency needed a robust and reliable remote management solution that could scale to the service district’s more than 80 schools while providing easy-to-use classroom management functions to its teachers who will be teaching for the first time in a 1:1 computing environment classrooms.
LACOE supports more than 80 public school districts and numerous other agencies to ensure educational excellence for the region’s 2 million students. The LACOE Technology Infrastructure Services (TIS) department is responsible for providing secure, dependable, cost-effective state-of-the-art technology services and solutions in support of advancing LACOE’s educational services and instruction. In that capacity, it offers enterprise-class information technology services to the Los Angeles County Public School system. From a shared core to the school site, all aspects of technology are supported, including architecture, design, implementation, project management and daily operations oversight.
