Boston, MAOct. 11, 2018– One of the most important factors when choosing an LMS is knowing how it will work for your school in the long term. The ability to smoothly integrate with services such as Google for Education makes an LMS a good decision for the future of your school because it allows your technology footprint to grow and change with your needs. Additionally, choosing an LMS that stays updated with all of the important standards, such as the recently passed General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is important for its long-term success in your school.

On Thursday, October 25at 1 PM EST, guest speakers Krystal Weiss, Josh Hale, and John Arthur Berg will present an informative, free webinar on “Using Google for Education with an LMS, Plus GDPR: What Does it Mean for K-12?” The webinar, hosted by Norwegian-based itslearning, GDPR-compliant and developer of the award winning personalized learningmanagement platform of the same name, will focus on what a robust LMS and Google for Education integration looks like and also what the new GDPR means for K-12 education who may have foreign students enrolled in their districts.

Josh Hale, itslearning’s CPO, will kick off the webinar by outlining the best ways to integrate an LMS with Google for Education, with special attention on long-term functionality and the ability to work with future technology updates. Krystal Weiss, Spring Branch ISD’s edtech facilitator, will then talk about her district’s experience using Google for Education with an LMS as well as the impact on teaching and learning across the district. John Arthur Berg, itslearning’s data privacy officer, will cover the basics of GDPR, what compliance means, and how itslearning has successfully worked to be GDPR compliant.

There is no cost to join the webinar, but registration is required. For more information go to: https://bit.ly/2Ov7tZh
