Movie directors and story artists from animated films share their advice for storytelling in new Pixar In A Box lessons announced today by Khan Academy and Pixar Animation Studios.

The first of six storytelling lessons is now available at PixarInABox.org. Like all products from nonprofit Khan Academy, the storytelling lessons are free.

In the six new lessons to be released throughout 2017, videos, exercises and hands-on activities take students of all ages through the concepts of storytelling. Students can test their knowledge and develop their own stories by using the lessons to guide them from an initial idea to a final storyboard.
