Third graders of Harris Bilingual Elementary School in Colorado's Poudre School District use eBooks to learn about science. As the children view the eBook online, the teacher works with the text on the large interactive whiteboard in front of the class. Students then study individual chapters, which they will teach to their classmates. The eBooks allow electronic highlighting and note-taking, and both individual and collaborative learning.
