What To Do with Old Textbooks?

As more schools go digital, what happens to all of the old textbooks? According
to a new study by the National Wildlife Federation, almost 40 percent of K-12
and higher education schools are storing or throwing away textbooks. These
statistics inspired a new collaborative project to study textbook recycling by
the National Wildlife Federation, McGraw-Hill, and NewPage Corporation.
The intent of the report is to highlight the life cycle of textbooks and to provide
recommendations on how to establish textbook recycling programs in schools
