Investigating Annual Daylight Patterns

Tomorrow is the winter solstice. Use this lesson plan to examine daylight and why the amount of daylight varies throughout the year. Find the lesson objectives, learning outcomes, and the procedure to follow, including pertinent discussion questions. Expand this lesson to cover geography by having students find out data about sunrise and sunset times at other places on earth.
