New York Philharmonic Kidzone

Have you wanted to try your hand at composing music?  This website gives you lots of ways to “fiddle” with your ideas.  For inspiration, you might want to first meet some young composers who have worked with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, listen to their music and watch some brief videos.  When you play the Musical Mingles game, you don’t even have to know how to read music.  Just arrange the four different “mingles” to make different sounds.  You can hear compositions that others have made with the mingles too.  Practice the art of orchestration by deciding which combination of instruments play a piece of music and listen to your masterwork.
