10/22/2013 6:00:00 PM
TryEngineering is filled with lesson plans for elementary through high school. This one focuses on the development of global positioning systems and the impact that technology has had on consumer products as well as defense implications.  The lesson includes objectives and learner outcomes, activities, as well as a full lesson plan in PDF, and student worksheets. See if your students can brainstorm new applications for GPS that would help solve some world problems.
