Science Challenge Winners to Attend 2016 White House Science Fair

Hannah Herbst, winner of the 2015 Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge; Deepika Kurup, winner of the 2012 Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge; Kimberly Te and Christine Yoo, team prize winners of the 2015 Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology, and Sanjana Rane, 2015 Siemens Competition National Finalist, have been invited to exhibit at the 2016 White House Science Fair on Wednesday, April 13. The White House Science Fair is an annual celebration of the innovative student winners of a broad range of STEM competitions from across the country.

These four young scientists have been invited to present their winning projects at the event, hear remarks from the President, and engage with other students, professional scientists, high-level senior government officials, private sector representatives, and others. The event will be webcast live at www.whitehouse.gov/live.
