Another week, another bunch of school districts struggling to deal with the negative effects of social media misuse. Administrators in Park City School District (UT) found that a social media threat from last fall came back to haunt them last week. Warwick High school in Rhode Island is wrestling with an online Facebook page that has outed a transgender teen in the midst of the bathroom imbroglio. And in Jacksonville, Florida, fight videos posted online have led to a school lockdown. Tech&Learning will be focused on how to deal with these situations at our next SchoolCIO Summit.
