Edtech trends and their attendant buzzwords come and go, but not many come, then go, then come back again. From where I sit, while still waiting on my Oculus Rift reviewer device, it looks like the promise of fully immersive classroom A/V experience is real this time. The Chicago Tribune recently profiled an elementary school in Barrington, IL working with Google cardboard. In Comanche, Texas, a local television station reports on high school students working with a zSpace device. And in West Fargo, ND, driver ed students first take to the virtual road.
