The Education Technology Industry Network (ETIN) of the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) honored members of the ed tech community who show outstanding commitment to K-12 and higher education with the annual Friend of the Industry Award. 

The two recipients of the Friend of the Industry Award are Jerome K. Fitzgerald, Minister of Education, Science and Technology of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas; and Senator Angus King, Maine’s first Independent United States Senator. Both were selected for their contributions to advancing pedagogy and technology.

The awards will be presented during theEducation Business Forum in New York on Dec. 8-9.This year, ETIN is delighted to announce the two recipients of the Friend of the Industry Award - Jerome K. Fitzgerald, Minister of Education, Science and Technology of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas; and Senator Angus King, Maine’s first Independent United States Senator. Both were selected for their contributions to advancing pedagogy and technology.

SIIA Honors Two Education Technology Industry Veterans

The Education Division of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) announces that it will honor Dr. Dustin (Dusty) Hull Heuston, chairman of the Waterford Institute, with its prestigious Education Lifetime Achievement Award. SIIA will also present its Ed Tech Impact Award to Lillian Kellogg, vice president of client services for Education Networks of America (ENA), during the upcoming Ed Tech Industry Summit held in San Francisco May 5-7.

SIIA to host at BETT

The Education Division of the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) will participate in London’s BETT Show and host an Ed Tech Pavilion for its members.

Ed tech companies honored
