Today, Microsoft announced the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update rollout, Mixed Reality Headsets, and the unveiling of Surface Book 2.
Highlights of the Fall Creators Update include:
· Photos app now lets users convert photos into memories and stories with personalized 3D effects, Ink, transitions, and video.
· 3D: Paint 3D allows users to manipulate objects, create and share in 3D, and bring 3D objects into Office files, including PowerPoint presentations and Word documents.
· MR: Partners Acer, Dell, HP, and Lenovo are launching the first Windows Mixed Reality headsets beginning at $399.
Microsoft also announces the latest in the Surface family of devices: Surface Book 2, available in a 13” and 15”, with up to 17 hours of battery life, the latest 8th generation Intel Dual-Core and Quad-Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce GPUs.
Surface Book 2 13” starts at $1499 and are available for pre-order on November 9 in the U.S and 20 additional markets. Surface Book 2 15” starts at $2,499 and is available for pre-order on November 9th in the U.S. only.
