Learning network integrates Google docs, assignments

TH(i)NQ Ed announced today two major upgrades to journ(i)e, its student-centered learning network.

1. Google Docs Integration – journie users can now use their Google identity in journie, enabling them to view and access their Google Docs from a file browser. Google documents can be embedded in or linked to a journie blogpost or wiki.

2. Assignments (with grade book integration) - enables teachers to provide students with a view of class assignments within workspaces. Teachers can maintain assignments for their classes using journie by itself, or import assignments from their preferred grade book software.
