New Resource for California Teachers

The California K-12 High Speed Network (K12HSN), a state-funded education program, and Verizon will hold simultaneous events in Los Angeles and Sacramento to unveil a new initiative to provide free online resources for California teachers. The new program will build upon Verizon's existing online educational resource - Thinkfinity.org - and allow educators to enhance their classroom instruction with lesson plans, interactive activities and other online resources.

Using video-conferencing technology to link the two events together online, audiences will be able to discuss the partnership and learn more about the K12HSN and Verizon Thinkfinity.org resources. The events will take place Thursday, September 17, at 10:30 a.m. PST. For more information, visit www.k12hsn.org or www.verizon.com/ca.
