On October 28, a panel of education experts, moderated by Senior Fellow Tom Loveless, will discuss the Obama administration's Race to the Top Assessment Program, focusing on implementation challenges and how common core standards, recently adopted by 38 states and the District of Columbia, will be incorporated into this latest generation of student testing. During the event, held at the Brookings institution in Washington, DC, short papers on the topic will also be presented and discussed.
