Safe search awards announced

A top 100 national ranking of school districts, indicating which districts keep students safest when searching online, was released today. Orange County Public Schools in Florida finished first for the large-sized districts, with more than 5.4 million safe searches for the 2009-2010 school year. For the mid-sized districts, Blue Springs School District, in Missouri, led with 1,619,750 searches. Morehouse Parish School District, in Louisiana, came in first for the small-sized districts with 429,797 searches.
