Register for this FREE virtual conference on November 17, 11am-7pmET, for the opportunity to network with some of the greatest names in edtech. Participate in scheduled chats on how you are solving real-world problems in your schools every day – from integrating mobile devices into the classroom, to deciding whether or not to filter, to getting those reluctant educators beyond “why tech” – all with the goal of creating good pedagogy and engaged learning.

At the top of each hour, you'll have the chance to watch a brief video in the auditorium by one or more of our headliners, raising key issues that they're hoping to discuss with you. Then, chat live with these leaders and other innovative educators in the Networking Center about your school’s unique challenges. Chats will be held throughout the day in the three Tech & Learning Pavilions: Curriculum, Leadership, and IT.

HEADLINERS:

11am: Mike Hall and Vallerie Cave: High School 2.0: Talking Change for Today and Tomorrow

12: Chris Lehmann: It’s Not About the Technology: Shifting from Technology Planning to Education Planning

1pm: Lisa Nielsen and Willyn Webb: Cells in the Classroom: From Banning to Embracing

2pm: Dr. Joseph Barrow and Mike Porter: Internet 2 and High-Bandwidth Connectivity: How and Why to Jump on Board

3pm: Cathy Swan: Facebook, YouTube and Other Mainstream Tools: Do they Belong in the Classroom?

4pm; David Jakes and David Warlick: The Impact of Social Media in Schools: Welcoming and Responding to the Disruption

5pm: Howie DiBlasi: 21st Century Skills: Are Our Schools Teaching Them?

6pm: Kim Carter: Disruptive Innovation: Fad, Fantasy, or Future of Learning?

CHAT WITH TAPPED-IN EDUCATION LEADERS IN THE NETWORKING CENTER:
