Crestron has announced the release of fiber versions of the DigitalMedia 8G™ transmitter/switcher, matrix switcher input and output cards and receiver/room controller. DM 8G technology delivers one-wire transport over low-cost multimode fiber without signal scaling, compression or hardware repeaters and delivers ultra-high speed and long distance transmission of all data, Ethernet and control, plus analog and digital AV signals.
