Capstone Digital announces the launch of new mobile capabilities for myON™ reader. The personalized literacy environment that provides access to a library of digital books with multimedia supports is now available on Kindle Fire. myON reader users can securely login through myON.com and have full access to the platform using the Amazon tablet.

Launched in 2011, myON reader provides online access to more than 2,500 books with multimedia supports (embedded dictionary, highlighting and audio), customized to a student’s interest and reading ability as measured by the Lexile® Framework for reading. To personalize the reading experience even further, myON reader develops an individual profile for each student based on interests and reading ability. The online platform then generates a recommended book list to encourage students to read more and further improve their reading skills.

Hachette Book Group’s Little, Brown Books for Young Readers Joins Capstone Digital’s myON reader Publishers Program

Capstone Digital announces its myON reader platform will be augmented with the addition of 46 titles from Hachette Book Group’s Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, publisher of bestselling picture books, fiction, and nonfiction for middle grade and young adult readers. Little, Brown Books for Young Readers joins other publishers recently added to the myON reader Publishers Program including Dorling Kindersley, Saddleback, Reference Point Press, Teacher Created Materials, August House, Mikaya Press, and Rourke Publishing, among many others. Each title added to the myON platform goes through a rigorous process to be converted into an interactive digital book.
