Educators Launch ‘Flipped Learning Network’

Flipped Learning pioneers Jonathan Bergmann and Aaron Sams have launched the Flipped Learning Network™, a non-profit organization for teachers interested in the Flipped Learning ideology.

With their new book, Flip Your Classroom: Reach Every Student in Every Class Every Day, due out in June, Bergmann and Sams built the Flipped Learning Network to continue the discussion of Flipped Learning with both experienced and potential “flippers.”

The Network will host the annual Flipped Conference and regional training workshops, as well as coordinate the Teacher Vodcasting and Flipped Learning Network Ning Community where thousands of educators are participating in flipped educator groups and discussion forums.

Aaron Sams, Flipped Learning Network Chair, teaches Chemistry and AP Chemistry at Woodland Park High School in Woodland Park, Colo. Ramsey Musallam, Vice Chair, is an AP Chemistry instructor and the Science Department Chairperson at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in San Francisco. Jonathan Bergmann, Secretary/Treasurer, is the Lead Technology Facilitator for the Joseph Sears School in Kenilworth, Ill. Kristin Daniels, Board Member, is the Technology Integration Specialist for the Stillwater Area Public Schools in Stillwater, Minn. Kari M.
