Two New Education Projectors Offer Multiple Ports, Eco mode

Optoma has introduced the TW635-3D and TX635-3D, two new 3500 ANSI lumen projectors with a comprehensive I/O suite and wireless capabilities, and Eco+, a suite of features that reduces power consumption by up to 30 percent, while increasing lamp life by up to 50 percent.

Both TW635-3D and TX635-3D are equipped with I/O ports, including HDMI, two VGA-in, VGA-out, composite video, two audio-in, audio-out, RJ45, RS-232, and USB Type A and B, allowing connection to a broad range of sources, including Blu-ray players, PCs, tablets, set top boxes, game consoles, camcorders and more. Both the TW635-3D and TX635-3D also offer wireless capabilities via an accessory dongle, and Crestron RoomView® allows for streamlined IT administration with network command and control features. Both projectors are 3D-PC ready and can display 3D content from 3D-capable computers.

Optoma’s Eco+ mode evaluates the brightness level of the content and dynamically reduces the lamp intensity to match the scene.

The widescreen WXGA TW635-3D is available for $949; the XGA resolution TX635-3D carries a price of $849.
