Coursera announces new partnerships with 13 institutions from 11 different countries which will be joining the platform to offer free online courses. These new collaborators bring the total number of Coursera participating institutions to over 100.

Take the 100-Day Presidential Challenge

An organization called Now Debate This announced today a new competition to coincide with President-Elect Obama’s first 100 days in the White House. “The 100-Day Presidential Challenge” will ask students from across the country to determine the biggest energy problems facing their communities and develop energy solutions they can implement at a local level. The competition is encouraging students to actively get involved in their communities to help solve America’s energy problems.
