The BrainWare Company announced the continuation of the BrainWare Awareness Week Grants Program for a third consecutive year, leading up to the celebration of Brain Awareness Week, March 10-16, 2014.
For 2014, $100,000 worth of licenses for BrainWare SAFARI cognitive skills development software and SkateKids and Ramps To Reading cognitively based reading programs will be awarded
Criteria for the grants include demonstration of ongoing efforts to promote awareness and understanding of the brain among students, teachers and parents; a commitment to effective program implementation; and assessing, documenting and sharing the impact of the program within the applicant’s community and with other educators and schools.
The grant application process opens February 1, with a deadline of February 28. 2014. Successful grant applicants will be announced during Brain Awareness Week, March 10-16, 2014.
