Partnership Offers Classrooms Access to STEM Experts

A new partnership between Nepris and JASON Learning will help teachers using JASON curricula to more easily connect with science, engineering, technology and math experts.

Nepris teachers will be able to choose from a list of pre-populated JASON Learning lessons for grades K-12. These lessons cover a range of topics from physical science lessons on machines to the study of weather patterns, erosion and more.

On Nepris.com, teachers enter requests for experts and professionals to speak to their students virtually. The sessions vary in type: the professionals might help students complete a project, or evaluate it based on the teacher’s rubric, or simply talk about their work in STEM and how it relates to everyday life. Teachers can tie their sessions to state standards or the Common Core and align them to intended learning outcomes.
