Pacific Metrics announces the release of Writing Power, a new essay-scoring product that uses CRASE®, Pacific Metrics’ proprietary automated scoring service, to provide immediate feedback on six traits of writing.

Writing Power allows educators to create, assign, manage, and report on interdisciplinary writing topics using the automated scoring model. The writing topics are scored in real-time as the student submits a response. Instant feedback is provided to both teacher and student covering the six key writing traits: ideas, organization, voice, word choice, sentence fluency, and conventions.
