Panasonic, Intel and Microsoft Corp. have announced a collaboration to bring an affordable 1:1 student device to the K-12 market: the 3E (opens in new tab). The 3E 2-in-1 convertible device features a detachable keyboard and allows students to connect to lessons anytime, anywhere. Designed for the K-12 market, it offers a semi-rugged design and interactive features such as temperature probe and microscope.
The 3E device is a core element to Panasonic’s collaborative classroom, which connects school products such as wireless projectors, interactive displays, enhanced classroom audio and security hardware. Panasonic is also announcing complementary services to their K-12 offering, including a suite of IT consulting services to augment IT administrator teams, as well as professional development programs.
