Today a bi-partisan federal student privacy bill was introduced in the House of Representatives by Rep. Jared Polis and Rep. Luke Messer.
“The federal bill is moving in the right direction, closer to California’s landmark student privacy bill with some of its critical protections for student privacy," said Common Sense Media's CEO, Jim Steyer. '"We look forward to continuing to work productively with the Congress to strengthen the bill even further as it moves through the legislative process.”
