More than half of Fairport, NY students in grades 3-8 will refuse the state English language arts exams next week, according to Interim Superintendent Bill Cala last week. As many as 150 students at one high school In Seattle, WA have promised to not test this week. More than half of Northern Highlands, NJ students refuse PARCC exam. The Atlantic puts this into historical perspective. The Washington Post gets big picture about it.
