Today's Newsletter: New Ways to Better Involve Parents

When it comes to having an innovative, edtech-inspired school culture, parents need to be involved. The T&L newsfeed has picked up on a few districts that are making that happen. In Mesa, CO, parents received an app that tracks students to and from school on wifi-enabled buses. In Cary, NC,parents are being tasked to sign an “all-or-nothing” policy when it comes to their kids using tech in school. And in Wayne, NJ, the district has developed its own app to provide parents to instant access to essential school news and updates. Each of these examples are small things that hopefully end up improving the overall environment. What are your schools doing to engage parents?
