CEV Multimedia Announces 900 District Adoptions in Texas

The Texas State Board of Education has selected CEV Multimedia to provide Career and Technical Education (CTE) curriculum to align with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). Following the development and approval of 87 CTE courses for the iCEV online learning platform, CEV Multimedia announced today that 900 Texas school districts have successfully adopted courses.

School districts that adopted iCEV materials received pre-packed, TEKS-aligned courses and learning materials, an automatic testing and grading system, and lessons. Student licenses offer interactive learning opportunities through project-based activities, video assignments and industry-backed certifications.

Texas State Board of Education Adopts CEV Multimedia Instructional Materials

LUBBOCK, Texas (Dec. 7, 2016) – To better reflect new educational standards in Texas and offer students comprehensive training resources in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, CEV Multimedia announced today the Texas State Board of Education has approved the iCEV online learning platform for 87 CTE courses. With the approval by the State Board of Education, materials will be available and implemented in classrooms at the beginning of the 2017-18 school year. As part of the Proclamation 2017 – Instructional Materials Review and Adoption, school districts in Texas can now choose to integrate any of the approved 87 iCEV courses into their curriculum. Proclamation 2017 focuses on adopting instructional materials for all CTE subject areas to coincide with the implementation of the new Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for CTE courses.
