Students in Lane and surrounding counties in Oregon will soon benefit from a $642,000 federal grant to help high-school students transition from Career Technical Education (CTE) programs to post-secondary education and jobs. The money will provide CTE students with apprenticeships in STEM fields, including computer science. The three program pathways to be implemented in Lane County are web development, network security, and IT support programs.
